I'm definitely far more kid than squid

I went out of my way to enjoy today as much as I possibly could. When I wasn't doing the laundry or shopping, I played a lot of Splatoon and a bit of Hyrule Warriors. I need a lot more practice to be any good at Splatoon, but I've found a few abilities that make up for my severe shortcomings in normal play, so I'm playing about on equal footing with the people who have a clue what they're doing. I spent the Hyrule Warriors session getting a couple of hearts in Master Quest, mostly the one for Volga in a Don't Get Hit level right next to his level 2 spear. You know the level I'm talking about if you've played it. There's only one heart left up in that corner of the map, and then the remaining ones are mostly on the left side of the map. I got an episode of Psychonauts cleaned up and posted, but the time I was going to use to record another went to Splatoon. I wanted to get to level 4 so I could buy some equipment, and I did that in the end. I'll get it done later this week.

I am so glad you spent the day doing things just for you. Sounds like you really needed that. If you want to come up for the Open House, let me know during the week (email is fine). Maybe some time away will be a good thing.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
