I'm quite glad it was a holiday today, since it snowed all day and the plows didn't show up until evening. I went out and dug out my car after they were finished, and hopefully, I won't have to do it again tomorrow. I don't particularly want to have to drive to work at all, but I finally found my old passport and have everything I need to submit for my passport application, which I have to do in person. (I guess I might still need to copy my driver's license, but I can do that at work.) I had lots of leftover pizza from yesterday and made some mashed potatoes to go with it, so that can be dinner for tomorrow, or lunch in a pinch if I end up staying home. The good news is that we don't have hardware for my current project, so there's nothing I'd need at work to keep going with that. Depending on the temperature tomorrow, I might stay home just to be safe and give the roads a day for the plows, salt, and braver traffic than me to clear them up.

At least my closets are a tiny bit more organized now, thanks to piles of boxes and electronics staged for disposal in the living room, and I got the first Psychonauts video ready to post. I want to have at least two before I start the thread, and more would be better. I'm going to wait until I know what my travel schedule for the next few months will be before I make a thread. I'm mainly posting this one as a tech demo to make sure I've handled the 480i component video properly. It looks good to me, but there's always someone with a better eye than me who can judge better.

Oh, and I got an apology from the dealership along with a copy of my inspection with an explanation of the findings (all good aside from the drive belt), and they said there will be a certificate in the mail for my next service visit, so they've made good in my opinion. Now to wait until they let me know the drive belt is in stock so I can set up the appointment they wanted me to have already been in for by now...

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
