This weekend's manga: Love at Fourteen 1, Alice in the Country of Joker: Nightmare Trilogy 2, Demon From Afar 1, From the New World 7 (the last one), Witch Buster 13-14, Strike Witches: One-Winged Witches 1, Dance in the Vampire Bund II 1, Drug & Drop 1, My Neighbor Seki 1, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer 1-2, Noragami 3, Assassination Classroom 1, Zero's Familiar Chevalier 4 (the last one), My Little Monster 6, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, Magical Girl Apocalypse 2, Arpeggio of Blue Steel 3, and Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Raising Project 15. Not too bad for only going to one bookstore, and since I've got plenty of unread manga from last month, I think I can manage until next month's trip.

The weekend ended basically as it began - Mom and I went on some errands looking for things that didn't pan out, but in her case, it was a good thing - she wanted to get more of a prescription cat food for one of her cats, but we ended up having to go directly to the vet, where she learned that the other cats shouldn't be allowed to eat that prescription food even though they won't touch the old food until they get super-hungry because they enjoyed it so much. They'll learn to cope. In my case, I was looking for Bridge bidding boxes, but in the end, I'll have to order them online. We had lunch at Popeye's and stopped at a store called Five Below on the way home, where I found some neat things cheap. The first season of Third Rock From the Sun, a 3DS game called Shifted World based on the Shift games, and Ramune cheaper than at the candy store, although they didn't have any melon, which is the best flavor. Definitely a place to stop at more often. We finished The Keys of Marinus, but rather than watch City of Death immediately, we decided to play some Hyrule Warriors. We didn't have much luck in a few levels, but we made progress elsewhere. I decided to try one of the levels just before bed, to see whether I could get an A-rank with Agitha. I did it in one try, but to be fair, I've got the Princess Parasol and enough hearts to take a few hits without losing rank. Also, lots of SP accumulation so I could use special attacks against the Beamos.

There were a couple of rather important phone calls, including one from Dad to wish me a happy birthday and talk about things rather late, so I hardly made a dent in my Youtube backlog. I think I may stop worrying about Channel Awesome, though - most of the people whose videos I watched have left the site, and while Nostalgia Critic isn't all that bad, I doubt I'd miss those videos. More time for LPs without them. Everything's mostly in order now for the week ahead, and after four days, I'll have another weekend free and clear. Maybe I can finish my own LP by then.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
