As for Thanksgiving itself, my oldest brother dropped by for the evening, but didn't eat dinner with us, so we just had some snacks and watched a bunch of funny Youtube videos. The Bad Lip-Reading videos weren't entirely new to me, but the Twilight ones were particularly hilarious. Earlier in the day, Mom and I went downtown to map out our route from the garage where she has a parking pass to Banker's Life Fieldhouse, where we'll be seeing a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert next month. There were a bunch of locked doors, including both ends of a skybridge where we got trapped until we could convince a random passerby to let us out. Indianapolis is not free of fire hazards. And we played some Hyrule Warriors in co-op, which isn't as great as I initially thought. The system chugs sometimes on single-player mode, and when it gets cluttered with two players, the Wiimote motion controls stop responding very well, which is bad because that's when you most need them to work. Especially since I was playing as Zelda, whose only non-motion activated attack is just charging up energy, so I can't fight without motion controls. We managed to beat the last four levels, though, and I taught Mom how to use Focus Spirit mode so she can fight a bit more effectively in the future. I think some of those levels were really made for co-op, although I'm sure all of them can be done single-player. I'm also looking forward to getting home so I can check out the new DLC, which I thought wasn't going to be available until December. Clearly, it's in the shop now, at least.
Mom thought the chicken had something in its butt. It turned out to be the chicken's neck.
