In which I speak with all of my authority as a clueless non-scientist

Another four day week comes to an end, and I'm exhausted - didn't get much sleep and needed to be at work early for a meeting where I contributed almost nothing, then spent most of the day involved in that same problem from before - where we got sidetracked by a completely different problem, but by the time I figured that out, I was too busy to let anyone know. Days like that are the worst. Fortunately, I could come home and treat it like a Friday - except for Taco Bell. I had leftovers, so I ate those instead. I guess I just assumed that the furloughs were going to be canceled before they started, but I guess we needed one day off before anyone noticed what a bad idea it was. Maybe more, who knows? I've got a three-day weekend, and I'm going to enjoy it... for whatever definition of "enjoy" I'm capable of. For now, it's enough that I took "Friday" off my alarm clock app and can rest in peace tonight. Aside from the random weird pains. It's probably the tuna and not the proximity to a radar that should have been relatively safe even so, but was probably best not turned on indoors. Radiation can't cause cancer THAT quickly.
