Amy's Baking Company... even after all the stories, I couldn't have imagined.

Today's Bridge: Mike played most of the hands, but I got to declare one with S A-K-J-x-x-x H A-x-x-x D A-x C Q or so. I opened 1S, Dan H. doubled, Mike bid 2D, Ken passed, I bid 3H, Mike bid 3NT, and I had a bad feeling about that and bid 4S. Mike gave me S Q-x H K-J-x D J-x-x-x C K-x-x-x. I got the queen of clubs on the opening lead and led a low spade to the queen - and Dan showed out. Well, he had doubled. I went ahead and ran the obvious losing finesse with the king of clubs, sluffing the losing diamond, and Dan took his ace and led back a low heart. The jack won that one, so I went ahead and led the king, which Ken ruffed. He led back a spade, so I took it, pulled the rest of his trump, and gave up only the last heart to make the contract against a 5-0 trump split.

I had a slightly earlier day than usual, which gave me time to finish editing the hour-long grinding video into two manageable parts. I suppose there's time to try a take of commentary on the first combat video, but I don't think I can do a very good job on it if I do, and tonight seems like a good time to catch up on some backlogged videos. A particular episode of Kitchen Nightmares, for example. I don't think I've ever seen anyone as delusional as the people in this episode. That's just amazing.
