And he even did one last ticket before he left. I helped.

Still no progress on the status report, but everything else went pretty well. I got quite a workout escorting someone in and out of the building, we wrapped up a few of the problems that remained open, and management brought us together for a meeting that kicked off the next effort in a much more decisive way than I've managed so far. I'd never make it on this project without help, I swear. And then I said goodbye to one of our engineers, who's taking a vacation and staying there. He'll still be available to work on the project, but only remotely. That makes me sad, but it's good that people are able to move on in life.
