More reasons I have no interest in Skyrim

I picked up Skyward Sword this afternoon, but I didn't have time to play it because I discovered a King's Quest stream and had to take part. I was up early this morning and ended up playing Shadow of the Colossus for a few hours, ending with colossus 13 - the best one in the game, but not my favorite. That's the next one, which I'm saving for another day. I'm hoping to have time to play a bit before bed. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to a short week, not least because one of my work shirts ripped last week, and I neglected to buy a new one because I decided to do my shopping at the Kroger on the same side of town as the mall. In my search for stuffed chicken breasts like the ones I know about at Sam's Club, I found two brands that make similar products and picked up a plentiful supply for the week in lieu of the usual pizza. I had the pepper jack and swiss with bacon ones tonight, and they were pretty good. Three more nights of stuffed chicken, unless I go out to eat on Wednesday, and then my first Thanksgiving with Mom since I was in college, I think. Most of the other brothers have probably made it back at least once since then, and it's been longer since college for me than for any of them. Since then, I've had a few Thanksgiving dinners with in-laws, one buffet-style dinner, and probably at least a few that were just ordinary dinners at home because I had nothing else to do. I think Curt and I ate at TGI Friday's one year, although that might have been for Christmas last year. Well, from now on, all holidays are going to be special occasions.

Need to start thinking about presents, though. I never know what to get anyone because the one person I know of who likes video games already owns pretty much all the ones worth getting. I also need to make a wish list for the people who have the same problem deciding what to get me.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
