Also, The Walking Dead looks pretty cool. Doubt I have time for it, though.

Hanging out at Mom's. Restaurant service was surprisingly bad today - Cracker Barrel took so long that we missed the first showing of the Harry Potter movie, and then Red Robin brought the free appetizer along with the meal, missing a few pieces of bread... so they comped it. Hooray for not having to pay for free stuff. As for the movie, I think they did an amazing job with the adaptation. Perhaps missing a few details that I thought would have fit quite well in the movie, but they played up the entertainment and action value while downplaying the parts that would have required complicated explanations. None of it felt out of place, even knowing the story from the book, which I couldn't say for the previous few movies. It's definitely worth watching the movies if you've read the books, although if you've seen the previous movies, you'll see this one, and if you haven't, watching the last one first isn't a good idea.

I bought some new manga at the Borders closing sale, as well as the complete Torchwood (possibly not including the specials... it doesn't say) and a few more Doctor Who DVDs at Fry's, plus CD-RWs to burn more Doctor Who on. (Temporarily, so I can listen to them in the car.) Also the Sgt. Frog anime in a buy one, get one half off sale, plus printer ink so I can print a new copy of my list of anime and manga. It's all related, sort of. The full list tomorrow, since we're planning to stop at Barnes & Noble before I head back home.
