Well, having been up sick last night, I wasn't in much of a festive mood today. While Curt went out to see Tron Legacy, I stayed home and posted new updates for Rayman and Space Quest. Then I bought a bunch of new games on GOG.com, or rather, a bunch of old games. I got all three Simon the Sorcerer games (aside from a few that appear to be German that I never knew existed), three Megarace games, three Incredible Machine games, Beyond Good and Evil, and The Longest Journey, all for under 33 bucks. The holiday sale must be seen to be believed. Also, I got access to four free games just for signing up. The only one of those I've tried yet is Lure of the Temptress, which has an awkward interface that will take some getting used to, but it's an adventure game, and it's free.
Chris and Jade arrived late in the afternoon, and we exchanged gifts. They bought me a bunch of stuff from my Amazon list, including Gitaroo Man for the PSP, and Curt actually got me a Playstation Move! I don't use exclamation marks haphazardly, but that really needs one. I haven't set it up yet, but I've got plenty of time.
I also thought Simon the Sorcerer sounded like Daniel Radcliffe in the voiced version, which I didn't know existed until today. So I looked up his voice actor. Chris Barrie. I can't unhear the similarity now. I'm forever going to picture Harry taking the blackthorn wand from Ron and saying "Does this look like a 14B to you, Ron?"
