News German Style

Moa: The King of Destruction
Pseudo-German Style, anyway. I just feel like capitalizing all the Nouns today.

Bill Gates is so freaking rich, the IRS has to have a separate Computer just to store his Tax Return Information.

Reckless Driver weaves all over the Road while looking at Porn.

Indianapolis Thieves steal Manhole Covers to sell as Scrap. And I was thinking of driving there sometime, possibly as early as this Weekend. It sounds like it might be hazardous.

A Prankster in Corsham is changing the Channels on people's Televisions with a universal Remote Control. Police and Residents worry that People will think their Televisions are broken and buy new ones. I hope they catch that Nuisance and bring him to Justice, but how do you track someone who can manipulate Things from a Distance? It sounds to me like this would be a good Time to call in L. He'll make short Work of the Miscreant.

hahaha, if you come up here this weekend, that'd be funny, due to me coming down there on Saturday.

Oh? For what purpose and when do you plan to stop by and say hello?

Hahaha, I have no say in where we go- I don't drive, so I can't direct them around. But we're going to my cousin's gig at.. Max? We think it's the place on 7th Street.

Be there Saturday evening. If I hadn't have had to work, I would have been there Sunday, too.

What times? If you can get them to end up at a specific place at a specific time, I can try to be there. Anything that's a "gig" probably wouldn't be the best locale for that.

Hahaha, it's my parents, so they'll be right out. I'm waiting for my cousin to get back to me about where it is, so I'll pass along any info. ^^

Say you want to stop at the Borders or Best Buy in town. I can get to those at a moment's notice. And the mall's right near there, but if you suggest the mall, they'll know something's up.

There are other weekends anyway... and if I can figure out where you work and when (like, you telling me), I could always arrange to bump into you there.

Hahaha, I work in the middle of Greenwood Park Mall. Like dab, straight in the center of Greenwood. We're hard to miss. The booths with the IU and Purdue and Ball State and Notre Dame stuff all over them. ^^

I didn't figure it would be hard to find you once I figured out which mall your booth was in. It was just a matter of figuring out which mall your booth is in. And when I'd be able to make the trip there and find you, rather than making the trip there and finding someone else covering your day off.

Does Greenwood Park Mall have a decent manga, anime, or video game store in it?

Hahaha, we have a Waldenbooks and a Half Price Books. The Waldenbooks is pretty decent. Half Price Books makes me happy when I find $2 Kare Kano.. They don't always have a good manga selection, though.

We don't have tons there, really.

And I'm usually there all day Sunday and in the afternoons Monday-Wednesday. Recently, that's been my schedule, at least.

Sunday sounds good to me. I'll make an effort to get up there sometime this month, if I can swing it.

How? If I have time on a Sunday, it'll probably be a spur-of-the-moment decision. If I know in advance, I'll try to post something here.

Indeed. Well, I expect this Sunday is probably out, because some football player is showing off his giant soup bowl or something, so the roads will probably be busy.

hahahaha, okay. ^^ Sigh, if I hadn't had to work, I would have been down there til Monday. Le sigh. Woulda been a lot more fun than sitting at a booth in the mall, wishing people were buying stuff..

Capitalizing Nouns and a few other Random Words also makes you look rather Colonial-Era. Or like a Newspaper Advertisement from the Days when Such Things seemed Very Earnest Indeed. AS IN: Buy the Amazing Patent Medicine, used by All the Crowned Heads of Europe, &c!

If I really wanted to be colonial, though, I'd have had to add extra Letteref to most of my Wordef and replace the Letter s with a flanted f. Thuflee.

Haha, true. (I think that is a fancy S.)

(I couldn't post comments yesterday. Very annoying. Hm.)

I'm trying to remember the story I read that made a big deal of the slanted f's... I'm thinking something in the neighborhood of Time Cat or Danny, Champion of the World, but not actually either of those. Parker'f Marveloufe Moufetrapf was the name of the chapter... and it probably WAS Time Cat, now that I think of it. *shrug* I just loved it. When I had a history project to make an advertisement in Olde English, I used the integral sign in the Word math editor, and further italicized it. It looked perfect.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
