New brakes really put a halt to things

I got really wrapped up in stuff yesterday - I took my car in first thing in the morning for an oil change, and the inspection found that my rear brake pads were worn almost completely through, which was no surprise. They didn't have any replacements in stock, though, so I was there for six hours while they got the replacements from somewhere else. They knocked $100 off the total for the trouble, at least, and I made enough progress in Zero Time Dilemma that I finally understand how and why the timeline works. Then I worked on cleaning my room, on and off, while doing video work in the background. The problem was that MeGUI, the program I use to do all of my encoding, kept crashing whenever I tried to do anything, and I spent most of the evening trying to track down why. I finally got it this evening by removing one of the DLLs and replacing it with an older version I found online. I had to go to the grocery store twice because I forgot to buy milk the first time, and I only ended up eating two meals, but I took out two bags of trash as usual (one from my room and one from the regular trash) and organized the stuff that remains in my room into slightly neater piles for the moment. I'm not feeling too great after eating dinner, but hopefully it'll clear up by tomorrow morning. Tomorrow would not be a good day to miss work.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
