Today's Bridge: Ken and I came out on top with a 5D finale - I had S K-J-x H x-x D A-K-x-x-x C A-J-10, Ken opened 1D, and Dan H. pre-empted with 3S. Since our total was at least 29 and I had a fit, I jumped to game, and when Dan didn't lead a spade into Jerry's void, we only lost the ace of spades and a club honor. Ken had S 10-x-x H A-K D Q-J-x-x-x-x C x-x, so there was little ruffing value, but the strength came together and the spades were marked. I don't think the rest of the rubber was particularly eventful aside from Ken doubling a 4C that ended up off two and Jerry's solo 4S that only reluctantly gave us four tricks - he got rid of his hearts before Ken could lead me one, but he did it by giving up an extra club.

Today's Work: I revisited one of the first things I fixed on the project, only to find a second function that's written in the same way that the first was broken. Upon further reflection, I think it's probably not broken, particularly since nobody's complained about it not working properly, but I spotted it late enough in the day that I didn't have time to finish following up on it.

Dinner was chicken that's been marinating in white wine sauce since yesterday and salad with a raspberry walnut vinaigrette that tastes like chocolate. I miss chocolate, sort of.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
