Always scrambling to get things done

I drew out of Bridge today (it was the first time we've had more than four people since January), but I did come up with a Bridge puzzle that I shared with the other players and might as well share here. Your hand is S A-K-9-7-3 H K-6-5-3-2 D 4 C A-Q and dummy is S 6-2 H A-4 D A-K-Q-J C J-10-9-8-7. The contract is 6NT, and it's cold against any defensive holding and any opening lead. It's pretty simple on a club lead - you take the first two club tricks, cross to one of the red aces, and lead clubs until the king comes out. You've got another red ace as a board entry for the rest of the clubs and diamonds, then a spade back to your hand for the rest. On a spade lead, the same applies, and on a heart lead, the only concern is that you have to use the ace of diamonds first, keeping the ace of hearts to guard the suit. Those are just warm-ups. The real question is: How do you make the contract on a diamond lead? Assume that the king of clubs won't come out until the third round of the suit. Jerry is the only coworker who's solved it so far, although I might hear from Ken or Dan H. tomorrow. Kevin got the problem but won't be around for a while to tell me whether he's figured it out. I'm pretty sure he will, though - I think it's simple as far as Bridge puzzles go. I might try to come up with more.

Work had me delving into some unexpected topics, and I expect there will be more of that for the rest of the week. It was a late day, as usual, and then I had to go to the mall to pick up my copy of Twilight Princess that finally arrived. My guest and I had dinner at Applebee's, so there wasn't much of the evening left when I got home, but I'm wrapping things up now and got most of the essentials done.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
