My blood sugar doesn't seem to be decreasing substantially, even though the medication has me spending more time on the toilet than off (and if it happens again tomorrow, I'll call the doctor's office and ask to switch to the extended-release kind), so I went shopping today for a bunch of food and drinks that are sugar-free, fat-free, low-calorie, and anything else they had to make it as much as possible like eating water. I've got a bag of carrots, fruit in bowls made of fruit, an extra portion of broccoli and cauliflower, kiwis, a bunch of expensive pure fruit juices, and powders for mixing with bottled water. I even picked up a big bag of Splenda, but I decided to try the Tradewinds unsweetened tea without it, and it wasn't too bad. I know I'm supposed to maintain SOME starches and sugar in my diet, but at the rate my blood glucose is going, I don't think there's any danger of me getting down to a safe level any time soon, let alone hypoglycemia. If that changes, maybe I'll start to worry.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
