I hate side effects

If I've had any regrets about staying home to ride out the corticosteroids, they went away this evening when I went out to dinner. It was just starting to get dark when we left the house, but it was pretty dark when we came back with the food, at about the same time I would have been driving home, and my vision was blurry as if I were wearing glasses from a long time ago. I couldn't read street signs, license plates, or lighted trucks that I should have been able to read normally. The effect came and went over time, but it couldn't have been very safe. Add to that the sudden clumsiness that seems to have overtaken me today (and my guest warned me that I'm likely to bruise more easily) and it's a good thing I stayed home through it all. I did a bit of video editing and discovered a problem I'll need to handle, and played a lot more Akiba's Trip, including finally beating the Rank S arena challenge and getting the final reward from that. My stomach's felt a little weird at times, and there are other things I don't really want to talk about. All in all, it was a rough day for me, and then I heard about things happening all over the world. I think I'll just relax this evening with some videos and some Neko Atsume and try to enjoy the weekend.

Yes, I'm THAT Nidoking. Sometimes I write fanfiction... often I waste all my time playing video games and watching anime. But it's not a waste if I enjoy it, right? I can quote from a movie, video game, anime series, or British comedy apropos of just about any situation, and one of my main goals in life is to entertain people. (The other big one is amassing as much anime and manga as I can... see below for a progress report.) That's me in a nutshell. ("Help! I'm trapped in a nutshell! What a bloody great nutshell this is!")
